Sei i protagonisti di una grottesca scena messa su dallo Stato italiano. E' il 16 dicembre del 1969 a Roma, in tribunale. E così il mostro fu sbattuto in prima pagina. Il Rolandi si era presentato dai carabinieri di Milano la mattina del 15 dicembre, mentre si svolgevano i funerali di Piazza Fontana, convinto di aver trasportato sul suo taxi il responsabile della strage alla Banca dell'Agricoltura. «E a Palermo che birra bevete?»

Palermo, ore 22 circa È sera, ma fa caldo come se fosse mezzogiorno. Siamo ad agosto. Alessandra è andata a dormire. È stanca. Oggi è stato un lungo giorno. Sui muri scorticati e degradati decine e decine di manifesti annunciano i concerti di Gianni Celeste, Mauro Nardi, del piccolo Patrizio, di Gianni Antonio, Gianni Nani, Marco Bologna, Gianni Vezzosi, Tony Colombo e altri ancora. Nino D’Angelo è stato qui a cantare a luglio per la festa di Santa Rosalia. La ragazza della reception ci dice che Nino è un mito a Palermo. Prendiamo la macchina.
